My life in pageantry began nearly 40 years ago, and for the last 15 years, has been deeply rooted as a competitor, director, judge and dress shop owner. You could say glitter runs in my veins!

 

I opened Dazzle Boutique as a pageant shop because there were none in Connecticut and the pageant community was in need of a place where they could find all of their wardrobe needs in one place. So with the support of the pageant community, Dazzle Boutique opened in Waterbury in May of 2013! What I didn’t expect was that the prom community would embrace us too! In a few short years, we grew to more than twice our original size and moved to Quarry Walk in Oxford.

 

When the pandemic hit in March of 2020, in order to survive, I needed to think outside the original “box” that Dazzle Boutique was in, and decided to bring in a whole new style of inventory. Now, in addition to the formalwear we always provided, we carry everyday boutique items like unique gifts, accessories and affordable clothing for work and play!

 

I am so very grateful to everyone for their continued support of Dazzle Boutique! I truly don’t know what I would do without you!
